«Helena Blackman» - biography, albums, songs, video clips

Helena Blackman (born 10 December 1982 in Southampton) is a British musical theatre performer who was runner-up on the talent show, How Do You Solve A Problem Like Maria? in 2006.

Helena trained at the Guildford School of Acting. In 2008 she was nominated for a TMA award for best supporting actor for her role as Nellie Forbush in the UK number one tour of Rodgers and Hammerstein’s ‘South Pacific’. Helena also starred in Stephen Sondheim’s ‘Saturday Night’ playing leading lady Helen Fogel.

Blackman is currently working on her debut album, which will consist of Richard Rodgers songs, and will be available in September 2010. She also appears on the album ‘A Spoonful of Stiles and Drewe’ amongst several other West End stars.
