«Sister Ray» - biography, albums, songs, video clips

There are three bands by this name:

1) Sister Ray was an American garage punk band from Youngstown, Ohio, USA. The group was formed in 1985 by Sam D’Angelo (vocals), Joe D’Angelo (bass), Vince Colucci (drums), and Mark Hanley (guitar). Katie Parks replaced Joe as bassist after he left the band to join the Air Force. They broke up in 1990. (Full Bio)

2) A local band from Salem, OR that originated in late October of 2004. Originally starting with the name “White Heat”, over time they chose to replace that name with “Sister Ray”.

3) Also an old Japanese band Sister Ray around in the 80s

4) An indie rock band from Melbourne, Australia, currently based in Osaka, Japan.
