«Statler & Waldorf» - biography, albums, songs, video clips
Statler & Waldorf are an electronic live act out of Brisbane, Australia. The duo came to attention with “Bass Buffer” which received extensive airplay on popular national youth radio station JJJ, featuring the vocals of Miss Brown over a buzzing bass heavy groove that showed trance and techno inspired producers could tackle hiphop fusion with style. Highlights include a standout EP and Album on Freefall Records and such festivals and events as Big Day Out and Earthcore. Statler & Waldorf joined with Australian Idol contestemts Chanelle Cole and Daniel Bell to form downbeat and triphop act Spook, channeling the dim health of the genre back into full public attention. Taking a much deserved break in 2006, Waldorf joined forces with oft-time collaborator of the band Dave Dri to form live progressive tech act Segue.
