There are five artists known as The Shoes: 1) The Shoes are an electro duo from Reims, France and you could say they are France’s answer to Calvin Harris. They feature Guillaume and Benalways. Debut album ‘Crack My Bones’ was released on green united music in 2011 and features a number of guest appearances including Esser, CocknBullKid and Wave Machines. They’re certainly well connected having produced a couple of tracks for Shakira’s new album and remixed the likes of Ladyhawke, Marina and the Diamonds and Golden Silvers. 2) The Shoes were a Dutch beat/pop group in the 1960s and 1970s. Biggest hit single: “Na na na”. The band was originally called The White Shoes, in 1963. Theo van Es (vocals) left the band for a solo career in 1978.
