«Kaéla» - biografía, álbumes, canciones, videoclips
Kaéla is a four-man Indie-Pop-Rock band from Southern Germany. The band was founded by drummer Jonas Stricker and bassist Jakob Nebel in late 2006. In February 2007, Ludwig Rensch entered the band as guitar player. In October of the same year, Lucas Fröschle as second guitarist completed the band and they played their first concert in December 2007. In June 2007, before Fröschle entered the band, the trio recorded a 4-track demo CD with Sebastian Braun. Whereas the first songs were written by Stricker, the songs of demo 1 were already composed by Rensch, who had also become the lead singer by then. In April 2008, Kaéla - now completed - began to record their second demo CD and finished it in October. The six songs sound more experimental and are full of effects. The CD was recorded by the band on its own, and is, like the first demo, downloadable for free. In January 09 the band started to record a third CD, this time with the help of Jörg Bielfeldt. The CD was named Balderdash EP and is available via www.musicnook.net and iTunes (US/EUR). Inspired by the British and American music scene, Kaéla creates a clear and surprising sound. Always searching for new sounds or new approaches to the songs, the band urges for fresh air in the music.
