The Angels son una banda australiana de Hard Rock formada en Adelaide, Australia, en 1974. La agrupación luego se trasladó a Sídney, donde gozó de gran popularidad, lanzando exitosos sencillos como "Am I Ever Gonna See Your Face Again", "Take a Long Line", "Marseilles", "Shadow Boxer", "No Secrets", "We Gotta Get Out Of This Place", "Let The Night Roll On", y "Dogs Are Talking".​

The Angels fueron citados por Guns N' Roses al igual que algunas bandas de la escena de Seattle (agrupaciones de grunge), incluyendo a Pearl Jam y Nirvana, como una gran influencia en su sonido. Junto a bandas como AC/DC, Rose Tattoo, Wolfmother e INXS, The Angels ha logrado dar reconocimiento internacional al rock australiano.

El 4 de junio de 2014 el vocalista Doc Neeson murió de cáncer cerebral, a la edad de 67 años.
