I first heard Kali at a Ham On Everything party, where she stuck out like a sore thumb (in a good way) and have been trying to get her on the show for months. She sounds like she was plucked from a lowrider oldies compilation, and looks like she was an extra in The Fifth Element. With her unique voice, nuanced writing, great ear for beats, and extravagant fashion, I have a feeling labels will be frothing at the mouth for her soon.
