Isaiah 59:19 in the King James says "So shall they fear the name of the LORD from the west, and his glory from the rising of the sun. When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the LORD shall lift up a standard against him." Maybe we have not interpreted this verse as the original author intended. We will review a few of the verses before verse 19 and examine the situation the people are in. God is dealing with basically three groups: the Sinners, the Saints and the Soldiers. How does he provide each group with what they need? Well that is why he is God! The study also examine how the author gave us a preview of the son of God, Jesus Christ.
