Tips for BOTOX® Cosmetic Patient Assessment

BOTOX® Cosmetic is a prescription treatment. All patients must be assessed by a licensed specialist to determine if BOTOX® Cosmetic is right for them.

BOTOX® Cosmetic is a truly iconic brand. BOTOX® Cosmetic is the ONE patients ask for, the ONE they come back for, and the ONE they tell others about.1* But do you know why providers choose it and patients ask for it by name? Listen as Corey Maas, MD, speaks with Rami Batniji, MD, Nicola Lowrey, MPAP, PA-C, and Inna Prokopenko, RN, about tips on how to assess if patients would be appropriate for treatment with BOTOX® Cosmetic.

BOTOX® Cosmetic is FDA approved to temporarily improve the appearance of moderate to severe forehead lines, lateral canthal lines, and glabellar lines in adults.2 Please see BOTOX® Cosmetic full Prescribing Information, including Boxed Warning and Medication Guide. Please see Important Safety Information here.

*Based on an online survey of 243 neurotoxin users. Patients were asked if they ever requested to receive a specific brand of neurotoxin, and if so, which brand. Patients who received BOTOX® Cosmetic at their most recent treatment (n = 204) were asked how likely they were to continue using BOTOX® Cosmetic. Patients who were treated with BOTOX® Cosmetic (n = 204) were asked how likely they were to recommend BOTOX-Cosmetic.1
