About Dr. Rivera:
Oscar Rivera grew up in the small town of San Luis, El Salvador. At the age of fifteen he left home to receive a more competitive education in hopes of becoming a doctor. He graduated at the top of his class while attending the University of El Salvador.
Oscar studied English intensely for eight months in order to pass his initial exams to pursue a medical career in the United States. While working an internship in Houston,Texas he studied for two more years to pass the next round of exams.
Today Dr. Rivera is an Internal Resident at UMPC Harrisburg Hospital in Pennsylvania. Oscar is the Chief Resident and is finishing his final year strong!
