RECEIVING YOUR… REWARD? (UNPACKING THE SECRET) – NAC:67

Over the past 6 years of teaching The Secret, I have found that no matter how many times I say it, inevitably people still fall into the trap of thinking that it’s not working for them because they don’t have enough faith. The energy of this though is almost always in line with the feeling that they simply need to do a ‘better job’ at believing so that the universe will ‘reward’ them with the thing they’ve asked for. In other words… they feel like they need to EARN their desired results.

Feeling like you need to ‘earn’ the things you desire from the universe is akin to feeling like you need to ‘earn’ the right answer from a calculator. Your behavior and conscious effort have NOTHING to do with it. It is simply a matter of what inputs you have employed, and what outputs you are hoping for. If you put in the right data, you will receive the desired answers. Put in the wrong data, you will receive whatever answer correlates to that data. It’s really that simple.

(This, by the way, is the answer to why good things happen to bad people and why bad things happen to good people.)
