In Part 2 of our Understanding Trauma episode, we get deeper into what trauma actually looks like, situations that can be traumatic that are often overlooked, ways to help manage symptoms and how to help reduce the effects trauma has on others around you and your relationships.

**After reviewing this episode, we have determined that we'd like to add additional information and provide further clarification on certain points. With that being said, we have decided to add a part 3, which will be released on Monday, March 4, 2019.

IMPORTANT NOTE: This is a complex topic, and our podcast does not allow enough time to cover everything that understanding trauma entails. Please remember that this podcast is not a replacement for seeking appropriate care, and to please contact a mental health provider or your primary care physician if needed. Please feel free to contact Alison or myself should you be interested in therapy, or are in need of resources to find a provider.
