«Anye Elite» - biography, albums, songs, video clips

Anyé Ellis also known as Anyé Elite is a Singer-Songwriter, Minority Gay Rights Activist, Fashion Model, and Cultural Commentator. Born in August, 31 1987 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania he began singing at the age of 5 in local talent competitions he later attended the famous Philadelphia High School of Creative and Performing Arts whose noted alumni include Boyz II Men and Bilal. In 2001 Anyé, relocated to Daytona Beach, Florida


Anyé began singing at various night clubs in the Central Florida area The Other Place, Groove, and Club Zeeba. And made local history has the first openly gay high school representative when he won the Mr. Mainland High School competition in 2005. In May 2006 Anyé made his South Florida debut as a headlining performer for the American Cancer Society’s “Relay for Life”. He’s also worked with the University of Miami and the Future Leader’s of the World (FLOW) program to create a performance arts piece that would tour the Miami-Dade area educating youths on HIV prevention.


In late 2006, Anyé released his promotional demo “Todo De Mi” featuring the popular lead single “Everytime We Make Love” to rave reviews.


2007 Began with Anyé in Atlanta, Georgia. As well as joining the Elite Family, Anyé helped to co-ordinate Atlanta’s first week long celebration of African-American Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgendered people titled Phyre. More recently Anye celebrated the 2007 Pride by performing at Black Pride Boston and Jacksonville. Mid August Anye released the first buzz single from his upcoming mixtape project “GAY-101” “What You’ve Been Missing”.
