«The Kneeling Bus» - biography, albums, songs, video clips
The Kneeling Bus (sometimes abbreviated as TKB) formed in Newtown Square, PA in 2003. The band comprises co-founders Duilley “Duie Byte” Blythe on vocals and keys and Frederick “Righteous Fred” Watts-Allen on vocals and guitars, along with Watts-Allen’s stepbrother, Neal “Nealey ‘Bus’” Allen on drums and keys, and Jeffrey “Jeff” Woods on bass and background vocals. DJ Draper Marquez, who replaced former TKB member MC Fan.Cee.Pantz in early 2008, serves as a special guest vocalist. Since their inception, The Kneeling Bus have been noted for their live stage shows. Members of the band would perform in their underwear in front of a wall of television sets, screening whatever programs each band member wanted to watch that night, with boxes of Popeye’s Fried Chicken and bottles of Jägermeister surrounding the stage. In 2007, The Kneeling Bus took on a faceless dance act persona following the Italian release of their single, “Aftermath,” and its accompanying video which was produced using the rotoscoping animation technique.
