«Diallo» - biografía, álbumes, canciones, videoclips

There are more than one artist by this name:

1) Diallo is a veteran Artist/Producer/Dj/Songwriter born in the U.S. and based in Richmond Va, not to be confused with the Paris France born rapper T’chaka Diallo or the Conneticut based band named Diallo.

Diallo started out originally as a Hip-Hop Dj back in 1986. He has been credited under this name on major releases since 1995 and as such is the 1st artist to be known simply as Diallo. To date he is still very active as both artist and producer with productions and guest appearances and several current and upcoming albums.

An artist/producer, songwriter with over 20 years of experience in the Hip-Hop game, his first major label credit dates back to Mad Skillz 1995 album “From Where” when he produced the song “Tongues of The Next Shit” featuring fellow M.C. Kalonji the Immortal (although erroneously credited as horn programmer rather than getting proper production credit) and has since produced, written for and collaborated on thousands of songs for other artists including Prodigy of Mobb Deep, Platinum songwriter Harold Lilly, Illa Ghee and Dj Khaled’s new artist Rum to name a few.

Diallo is also one of the founders of Virginia’s hip-hop movement.

A pioneer that helped create the spark that put Va on the map, inspiring the likes of Dj. Lonnie B, Danja Mouf, Timbaland, Missy etc., and is a founding member of Bloody Reign (who brought you GMGB), Disorganized Union, Tribe of Juda, Herbal eX Records, Herbal eXperience LLC, and co-founder of and a number of other highly influential crews throughout the Mid-Atlantic.

As an artist, Diallo has been featured on the 1999 Bloody Reign Ep “Night Visions”, CAL Pacino’s 2003 release “The Casket”, All 3 “Virginia’s for Hustlas” mix cd’s by Dj Dynamite J (available at Dat Piff), The 2009 album “Access to my Soul” from Afi Makalani, the 2008 Release “Road to Respect” by CAl Pacino, The 2007 release “Get a Dutch - The Herb-N-Music Experience V.1), the full length solo album “Get it or Forget it” released by Herbal eX Records and several others, with other collaborations and productions popping up over the years on on underground mix tapes and cd’s as well as several official vinyl releases from Disorganized Union, Bloody Reign, NATO and many others.

Diallo has several current projects due to be released soon including “Goin’ Green - The Herb-N-Music Experience V.2” the followup to the 2007 compilation album from Herbal eX Records as well as a new currently untitled solo album, new releases from MahAgony, Uncanny, Disorganized Union and a very special project with The Triumphant Youth.

2. Tchaka Diallo was born in Paris, France and raised in Atlanta, Georgia. Tchaka would later say of his transient upbringing, “When you grow up seeing fashion trends start in Paris and not reach New York until 3 years later, you realize everything is relative…”

Tchaka recorded the feature track “Big Girl, Skinny Girl” for artist CX Kidtronik’s debut album. This song is widely regarded as the best track on the album and as a testament to the songs power, CX Kidtronik performs the song even when Tchaka is not present. Also, Tchaka recorded the song “Rolex” for the HBO hit series “True Blood”, which has garnered Diallo nationwide recognition…

3) Diallo formed in Connecticut USA in 2000 by former members of many bands including React, Hail of Rage and Kontortion and their legacy is four ep’s: Diagram of a scam was their first ep released by Yellow Dog in 2001, it was followed by a s/t ep [a.k.a.
